If you could beat Phelps, WOULD YOU?

Hypothetical question.

If you were Loche and you are swimming against Phelps and you're both on the US TEAM.... and God gave you the strength to beat him...

would you

a) beat him and crush his dream of 8 medals + a world record

or

b) let him win knowing how important it would be to him and the country?

Yes. Phelps doesnt want to win because someone let him. He wants to win because he's the best, and if hes not the best, he deserves to lose. That's the nature of what competition is.

Yes, I would beat Phelps if I had the ability to.

Yes, I do not want Phelps to lose, but he has to earn it, which means being faster than everyone else in the pool during a given swim.  If someone can't keep up with me, that's their own problem, and I would feel no guilt in beating them.
