take into account the brain damage and all the other phsyical problems that worsen as you grow old, not to mention the fame syndrome of never wanting to be out of the limelight should success come your way.

look at Mayweather - foo's crazy

Ali, Fraizer, Riddick Bowe, Hollyfield, Tyson.

Is it even possible for a normal human being to become champ haha?

  1. I would do it if I'm able to fight for a title or have high profiled bouts. I would want to fight the big names and get the paydays. I would want to headline Showtime or HBO. I would want to fight in Vegas. It would be hard to fight on an undercard. I would not want to be one of those journeyman fighters that fight for pennies.

  2. I still want to become a boxer but can't because of some surgery I had done on my upper jaw. I still train and workout as if I want to become a professional. But now I train to become a trainer myself, to better know how to train my boxer. We all know the set backs of boxing. I would do it until I make a good name for myself along with the money and then call it quits. Everyone always have other interest. Boxing is a great way of life with lots of benefits but it isn't everything. You can't box forever that's when the setbacks take place. I think Mayweather's smart for what he's doing. Call him what you want but he's set for life. He has other interest, he's still young, and rich. Fame for being one of the greats only holds so much dignity. If you're a very athletic person this is a good sport for you just as any other sport. Of course any human can become a world champion with enough will and training.

  3. aaaaaa yes!!!

  4. uhmmmm yes!

  5. i will become a pro boxer god d**n it!

and when my time is up i'll enter the g*y as* ufc and dominate against all those low-skilled fighters

  6. If i could, i would. Im an amauter at the moment and i dont have enough time to get in the ring anymore. I have won all of my 8 amatuer fights but think im going to lay of the boxing for a year. Go back to bodybuilding and focus on the last year of school. If i ever turn pro, il make sure im ready first.

  7. Nope.  Not athletic enough, nor did I have the killer instinct.  I'd drill my sparring partner, then lay off him because I felt bad.  Not a good recipe for a pro boxer.

  8. Mate, I am a pro heavy weight fighter.

Football etc... have all the same risks. We don't break necks and blowout knees like those guys. Plus there is no sport in the world that tests you like pro boxing both physically and mentally.

The key is KNOW WHEN TO GIVE UP!! And thats easier to say than do but when you are done you are done. I haven't dropped a fight yet but am absolutely determined that 12 more months and I'm out.

Don't hate boxing, it's a great sport. Most guys in it come from tough upbringings and aren't that smart to start with but are born with god given talent and timing.

  9. I certainly wouldn't, the long term damage outweigh the good parts, however if it was live a life of nothing, or a few years famous, maybe I would think about it a little more.

  10. For sure!! UFC/MMA would mess you up earlier then Boxing, plus you got a better chance of getting in a car accident turning into a vegetable then something happening to you in Boxing

  11. DannyBoy,if there so low skilled why dont you just fight them now? MMA is hard *******,so stfu.

  12. For sure i would be a pro boxer if i could.

With the physical problems, I would just train myself to be good at speedy defensive boxer so that i would be able to evade a lot of hits.

With the money part, i will try my best to stay away from the greed.

  13. if i was good enough, i wouldnt think twice about it. id try to make some dough, retire when it was time

  14. I would be a pro sure but the greed and stuff would probly get to me.plus if you ever think about it boxers do so much training they get little free time.Im an amatuer and this training feels crazy lol I cant imagine pro and all the physical problems.
