My friends call me by a different name than my legal name. Then again, I've always gone by my middle name with family, so it wasn't too much of a stretch to just create my own name.

My full name is Courtney Elizabeth Barrington. If I could change my name, I wouldn't. I think it would be rude to my parents because they spent a long time picking out my name. If I could have chosen my name, I think I would want my name to be Alexis or Abigail.

Well b4 I came to U.S my name was "Linet"... when they started to do the papers and passport and stuff to come to this country they made a mistake and changed it to "Lines" which in spanish sounds really cute but u already knw what it means in english lol. So I really wanted to change it when I got my citizenship but I thought about it and I think it makes me unique :) so I dnt want to change it anymore

I wouldn't.. but keep in mind that in the US you can use whatever name you want to as long as you don't change names for illegal reasons.

I don't think I would....I happen to really like my name. My name is Katey, or Kate as I'm mostly known by.

If I had to though, I'd probably change it too Luca or Holly. I wouldn't mind being called one of them.

no probably not. If i had a chance to go back in time when i was born and then somehow make my parents name me  a different name then yeah...bec ause it is hard for people to say and it's embarrasing when people call me something else in front of a lot of other people. and my initails are PP so some people call me PP to get on my nerves. its annoyyying!!!

My name is Katelynn, and although it's common, I like it.

I was named after my Grandmother (Jane Kathryn) and my Aunt (Jonni Lynn) so my parents put Kate and Lynn together.  Funny thing is, they thought they made it up!  lol

No, probly not. Even though I am constantly picked on for the name 'Kendall' (Candle, Motor Oil, Gwendle, Ken Doll, etc.), I wouldn't change it because I am grown into it. Kendall is me and I am Kendall.

But if I was forced to change my name I'd probaly change it to Mercedes or Amber or Tessa or something. :]

hi, my name is Bridget and i used to HATE my name i always asked my mom if i could change it to megan. now that im older i realize how cool my name really is and that i would never want to change it because its who i am. it shows my Irish heritage and represents a great woman in my family. i love my name and will never change it. i hope you feel thew same way about yours :)

My names Francesca and i wouldn't change it, although i don't always like it and there are many names i would rather have but if i did change my name i would feel like i would be erasing who i am.
