  1. STARTER

    PG - Magic Johnson

    SG - Michael Jordan

    SF - LeBron James

    PF - Tim Duncan

    C - Shaquille O'Neal

my starters are DOMINANT in both ends... johnson is perfect for fastpace game and dominates every position... jordan is the greatest of all time, unstoppable on every type of offense... lebron has the potential to be the greatest, and he's unstoppable on the break... duncan is just dominant on the lowpost, and knows his roles...  shaq is just dominant in his position.

and teamwork is unquestionable... they are mature enough to lead and/or play assigned roles... and they can interchange positions... except shaq... he can only play center

    BENCH

    PG - John Stockton

    SG - Reggie Miller

    SF - Scottie Pippen

    PF - Kevin Garnett

    C - Hakeem Olajuwon

my bench are mostly roleplayers... i chose them because they are skilled and mature enough to play the roles assigned to them... kobe won't bench because he always wants to start... the bench also provides perimeter shooting that the starters lack... all of the bench can shoot threes... and i'm confident that they're energetic off the bench offensively and defensively

    RESERVE

SG - Dirk Nowtizki (i need a tall shooter who is hard to defend at the post and a recognized flopper)

SF - Shawn Marion (does the dirty work and everything else)

  2. you said it

  3. PG-Magic/Stockton

    SG-Jordan/Bryant

    SF-Bird/James

    PF-Duncan/Malone

    C-Chamberlain/O'Neal

    D- Rock:

I disagree with you about Larry Bird.  He is a legend of the game, and he fits in perfect as a 3point shooter, and has one of the purest shots ever.  I don't think his athleticism is as bad as you think, and otherwise I would feel comfortable with either Duncan/O'neal/Chamberlain guarding the paint.  I would pick James as maybe the better overall player, but out of respect Bird has to be ahead.  I put James first initially but after I thought of all the things Bird has done in his career I thought it was a shame almost to put any SF ahead of him.  Also, Olujawon/Kareem/ are not power forwards they are Centers.  And Rodman may be a beast on the glass but he is no center or that typical of a defensive stopper.

  4. pg - magic (best pg EVER)

sg - jordan (best player ever)

    sf - bird

  9. The Best team would be

PG: Magic - Best Point of all time...Triggers the break better than anybody -

SG- Jordan - No Need to even explain

SF - Scottie Pippen/LeBron - This is tough... Scottie can play in any type of game considering his athleticism and strength, and he had amazing D..Lebron is just a beast...SOme people picked Larry, but I doubt he would be as effective in todays game because of his lack of athleticism, he would probably be like a slower Dirk Nowitzki

PF - Tim Duncan - Tim Just knows how to win, and will sacrifice any part of his game to do so

C- Shaq - No other player is as dominant as Shaq

    Bench

PG - Stockton - Pure PG... every good team needs one

SG - Kobe - Kobe is easily the 2nd best SG of all time

SF - Scottie or Lebron - Whichever one doesnt start

PF - Hakeem - Shot blocker, big time scorer and rebounder, and amazingly quick

C - Dennis Rodman - Im sorry I dont fall into the taking old school players thing because I j ust dont see them as being as dominant in todays game as they were back then when players werent dunkin an barely grew over 6 '5... So im taking Rodman here because I have enough scorers I need a strictly defensive player.. .and rodman is just that and gets a huge load of rebounds in the process
