If you could choose one team to eliminate from the Major Leagues, which would you choose?

Just gone - poof, disappeared. Bankrupt, Gave up, what have you. haha Any team, which would you like to see gone? (Not harmed, just not playing. haha)

And yes, I know that would s***w up interleague play and things like that. Just pretend it wouldn't. ha

    I think the nationals should be kicked out because they absolutely suck. They are the worst team in the MLB. Period.

  4. I would definately not get rid of the yankees, because without the yankees, there would be no rivalry, i love them and hate them at the same time.

    i might want to get rid of the rays, i don't know why. They're just kind of pesky.

  5. None. Much as I hate the Red Sox and a few other teams, but I wouldn't want any team gone. The rivalry between the Yanks and Sox is one of the best things in sports.

    And any of you choosing to eliminate a team shows you can't handle competition. Or you're simply immature.

  9. The Yankees. And I state this purely for economic reasons.

    There is NO WAY MLB would allow the entire Noo Yawk metro area to fall to the Mets, so there'd have to be at least one expansion team put there or existing team relo'd -- so, foo, stick in three teams and REALLY split up the local broadcast revenue potential of the market. Crush that local revenue advantage once and for all. The Royals would be winning titles within five seasons (maybe).

  11. Florida can't support two teams so they should only have one.  Before this season it was easy to get rid of Tampa but now I don't know.

    They should probably merge the Rays and the Marlins and call them the Florida Rays.  They could play 35 games in Tampa, 35 in Miami and the other 12 in Orlando (or maybe some in Jacksonville as well).  That should help boost the dreadful attendance for both teams.

  13. I would have to say the Washington Nationals for several reasons. First, Washington has had two previous teams and they left town, with one reason being lack of fan support. Two, ever since the Expos moved to D.C., there has been virtually no attempt at improving the team. Even though they are playing in a new stadium, there really is no player(s) to draw the fans into the ball park. Once the newness of the park wears off, there once again will probably be an attendance problem. Get rid of them now and save the people of the Nation's Capital region any further grief.

  14. Kansas City Royals....they never keep their good players and have been rebuilding since George Brett left.    

  15. the LA Dodgers....they could be harmed, thats alright.

  16. Chicago white sox they are the only thing in the way of the MN twins being in 1st place!

Even though they are having a great year this season, Tampa Bay would be my choice.  They have a great young team, but they have no fan support at all.  I thought I heard they had like 15,000 in attendance for Monday's game.  That's insane for a 1st place team, and to make it worse, they were playing maybe in the best team in baseball, the Angels.  

    Of course, it the stadium they play in doesn't help any.
