Suggest something realistic that is within your control, not 'solve world poverty overnight'. Even small things can make a big difference to someone. It could be someone you know or a total stranger, or it could be an institution, or the environment... so what is it?

  1. Bunnie sweetie, if your so intent on killing everyone why don't you start with your.....Woah nevermind. I don't wanna be mean.

Let me think about your Q for a sec doodle..

I think if everyone was a little less selfish the world could be a lot better. I do things for people, even strangers but I am still selfish sometimes, whether it be with time or something else. So I guess that

  2. Right now its tending to an injured housecat that wandered in yesterday all bloody and torn-up from probably getting hit by a car.  All my life I've been looking out for animals that wander in like that.  Did it with unwanted kids and unwanted dying patients, too.  I know in my heart that the way I can best make some kind of contribution to whatever we perceive "goodness" to be is this thing I do nursing and loving things that no one else wants.

  3. -I would start smiling at everyone even when I felt like crying...you never know when a friendly face can make someone's day.

    - I would stop judging people before I met them based on something someone else has said about them, rumours, background etc...because I've made many many misjudgements on character by doing that.

I know those are 2 things and you only asked for one, but those are my little "mini goals" towards being a better, nicer person that other people look forward to being around.

  4. Offer enouragement to people trying to do the right thing.

  5. I would have every parent (mother and father) spend a day at school with their child.  This would be enlightening to the parent I think.

  6. dissolve PETA

  7. Here's two:

    1.  Walk the ten extra feet to put your cart in the corral provided by the supermarket.

    2.  Walk the two extra feet to put trash in the bin provided by most public establishments.

  8. Random acts of kindness. Helping someone out without expecting anything in return. The movie "Pay it Forward" really struck a cord with me. It's something I try to replicate, even if it's on a small scale in my own life. There is an organization called the Pay it Forward Project that I also support, either by spreading the word about them or financially, when I am able.

On a personal level, I wish I was in a better position to be able to adopt my niece. I wish her brother was my brother's child so I could get him also. Even if they didn't end up with me or even my parents, I wish there was something I could do to get them out of their current living situation (with their mother) so no more harm could come to either of them.

  9. Stop bunniebaby from making idiotic posts in GWS.

  10. Walk the streets at night with a torch and scare away the criminals

  11. Teaching my children the concept of Personal Responsibility.

  12. Have tried to do that in a very small way. Have put bags of food on the doorstep of my ultra-poor neighbors when they werent around. Didnt want them to know who I was...thats the beauty of it.  Have tutored kids for free because their parents couldnt afford the usual 25 bucks an hour. Have taken calls from desperate people looking for some help. They just need someone to talk to. And more and more in a very small way, but it does add up. Someday they will pass it all along to others...

  13. elect a good prez who knows wat he/she is doing and can fix  america so we can help others

  14. Join a group that will help restore our Constitution and reveal the secrets that the government and the elites have hidden from the public. To make them understand that they do not control us but we control them. That's what this country was founded on and we need to make sure that it stays that way. Things are going downhill fast. Especially with modern day thinking. The idea of mass media manipulation and other so called conspiracy theories need to be looked at more closely and with an open mind.

  15. Quash all feminists & feminism....... Oh wait, you said a little..

  16. get my s*hit together, I guess. Then have a laugh when I couldn't lift it.

  17. Vote the Republicans out of office in the U.S. in November.

  18. Continue working at Build-A-Bear.  I make children smile, even if they have really mean parents (and I have definitely encountered a few)!

  19. Teach a child to read.

  20. Encourage fast-food outlets to stop using polystyrene containers. Each City produces over 7 million of these a month - and all are just thrown away. Chip trays are "used" - actually used for around 3 seconds, after that, the paper wrapping serves as the container.

If everyone just asked their ship shop - that they don't want the tray - Think of how much resources wil be saved?

If you are concerned about grease leaking through - use a thin sheet of cellulose - It's biodegradable like the paper!

  21. If I could get people to "see through other people eyes" and learn to be more empathetic that would be the greatest thing I could do. It means educating people and maybe being brave enough to speak up when maybe it isn't the most popular thing to do. If people were less judgmental and tried not to be Hippocrates's we would all be so much gentler to each other. You just never know what makes people work like they do nor what they have been through!

  22. I intend to devote my life to plant research :-), that may well help people some day.

On a personal level, I encourage people to follow their dreams. I listen to people's problems. I try to keep an open mind and not judge.

  23. I'd encourage anyone who's right, and I'd tell anybody who'll listen to do what is right instead of what is easy, and follow that myself. I'd encourage anybody daring to think and be different because geniuses don't do different things, they do things differently. Unfortunately in my country, the education system utterly discourages creativity.

I'd also be careful not to moan about my problems and keep people cheerful even if I don't feel the same way. My problems are my responsibility and I'm going to fix them. Making someone else's day and seeing the smile on their faces makes my day.

  24. Nuke France, seriously they deserve it!

  25. Teach people that standing up and defending the weak is something only very strong persons can do. And I'd tell them forgiving isn't 'weak', as many people have that wrong notion. If you think 'revenge' sounds cooler, you're seeing too many movies. Forgiveness is an attribute exclusive to the strong.

If everybody in the world did this, the number of injustices would greatly decrease.
