  1. hand in the back stay!

It a great rule cause the forwards now can kick more than 100 goals in a season again. no players had kicked over 100 goals in a season for a very long time.

I think franklin can do it this year.

the one rule i will get rid of is.................. Bumping

Most of the players get injury from bumping and if the bumpers miss their bodys and hits the head, the bumper will be in big trouble. The bumping makes the game very damges

  2. the "no touching of the hair or face' rule.

  3. Absolutely! That rule is **** house and has no real impact on what could be a good contest, but the umpire is forced to step in and call a free kick because the hand may have been resting on the shoulder for a second! It's a horrible rule!

  4. well i would get rid of the rule "in the back" bcus if they had the ball and u are behind them wat else is there to do

  5. The new interchange rules are completely over the top.  But what is even more farcical is that Paul Roos had the audacity to complain about them!!

Listen to this Mr Roos, ya daft prannit!  If you actually tried to get to get your team to follow the rules then the AFL wouldn't have to come up with this kind of nonsense.  It was because you allowed to have your player who is supposed to be coming off interfering with play that they had to do something this stupid.

I actually like the hands in the back rule.  Nothing daft about it.  Shoving someone off the ball is easy, manouvering them off it, or trying to deflect it actually takes some skill (whether for the defender or the forward).   This rule is why Barry Hall has "played" so badly this year - the shove is one of the few tricks in his repetoire, and without it he has to rely solely on cheating.

However the umpires can't judge it consistently so unfortunately it probably should be binned.  Or alternatively you need to get more umpires.

  6. UM THE RULE WERE U CANT PUSH IN  DA BACK ALTOGH IS HELPS THE FEVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAAAA... OR

  7. YES!

I hate it to death. Where is the biff.

Players should be able to give other players a nudge when they take a mark and they should be able to have hands on the back!

    EDIT

    Also-

AFL players are getting too soft! Sone they will be crying and snotting all over the field when they take a hit.

I think the legal roughness is too technical... you have to bump in spersific ways or you get reported. They players are to worried about being forever reported so they dont get dirty enough.

    =)

  8. A Mark being paid after kicking backwards,

    If they stopped this rule:

It would prevent teams from playing kick to kick for the last 5 minutes of a game and make the game a bit more exciting..

Watch the Tigers and Saints they seem to do it more than anyone!

  9. The 50 metre penalty, make it 15 metres like the old days.

  10. the rule where every single year all the rules change.

I hate the chopping of the arms rule for the forwards, that really pi$$es me off.

  11. ahahahah probs the whole sport all together thats how S**t it is

  12. I think add a rule where a forced behind equals 3 points not 1. This will force the opposition to think before seeking the comfort of the rushed behind for an easy kick out.

  13. That goddam "Hands in the back" rule. It pi**es me off so much. One finger touches their back and its a freekick. AFL is getting too soft. It's like they are trying to take everything physical out of the game.

  14. The new interchange rule, it is stupid, getting a 50m penalty from the center resulting in a shot on goal, a penalty which can be given when the player isn't even crossed the line, just outside the yellow box.  we were fine for 149 years and as soon as it happens once (19 men on the field) they change the rule! i say unchange it!!

  15. The interchange rules: What a farce!

And that stupid hands in the back rule....makes me very angry...how are defenders supposed to defend? They can't even touch the forwards any more!

  16. i agree......Richmond should have beat Essendon last yr....But Richo "Touched his opponents back"...he didnt realise.... he played on...2 mins left..kicks a goal from 50....puts us infront....goal got taken away.....50 m penalty...essendon win.
