ability to settle differences peacefully - C (knowing Belize became an independent country over dinner, allows this higher grade).

tolerance - C (again some countries are pretty good at this)

caring and nurturing of children - F (when children are dying of hunger, thirst, and illnesses that can be cured there is no other grade to consider)

education - C (SOme countries offer it, but the residents don't want it, some children can't get it and they really want it)



ability to develop adequate amounts of food - C ( we develop it then waste it trying to provide ourselves with other foods, how much grain does it take for one cow to mature - forty people could live for ten years on it)



respect and care of mother earth / surrounding environment - F ( we are failing here, the AMazon, what I mentioned above, overfishing, endagered species, urban sprawl, shopping malls...)



development of medicines and drugs to fight illnesses - D (we have them but we are not using them, or we simply choose to ignore the side effects of the most dangerous drugs).

provide a reasonable wage for work - A (the wages are reasonable, it is the price of goods that are ridiculous)



provide for the common defense (local police to military) - If #2, #3, #4, and #5 got A's than this wouldn't even need a grade but I will give a B on this one - besides America and parts of Africa the other countries seem pretty subdued.
