buffalo, new york- early 1900s- buffalo had more millionaries than any other city in america. it was the 8th largest city and the greatest inland port. frank llyod wright built 6 houses, the larkin builing here, world renowned urban planning, olmstead park system, more paved roads than any other city, 1st city w/ electricity, etc.
