as a nonfictional person i'm going to say maybe alexander the great.  eh conqured most of the know world, was a birlant man. still respected today.

The average person in the First World lives in far more comfort today than even Kings did as recently as two hundred years ago.  I'm quite happy to still be alive and have the ability to learn more about the past than people then living in it knew.

i am a historical person,

time travel is a tricky question,  it is akin to living a lie in the now and current status where in you live your life with something to hide and try not to leak out your secret

if by your question you mean, what historical person would i want to be,  none.  i am happy to be me, to live my life in my body with my values and my accomplishments.
