  1. Hi!! Most certainly i would love to do so. To placate various family members i bowed to their wishes and named my daughter Sheila Anne and my surname begins with P therefore she is  SAP.

Why is it that fathers seem to have no say in these matters?

  2. No, I only have one son and I love his name. We put a lot of effort in deciding his name, and I'm happy with it.

  3. Well, he's only had his name for 10 months, but so far I am still very happy with my Alexander James. It is "his" name now, I couldn't imagine him being anything else.

  4. no my childrens names were chosen with love even though my marriage turned sour

  5. What an enticing thought.... my son, Perry, is a very boisterous, mischievous, and loud child not unlike Dennis the Menace! I sometimes wonder if he would be a quieter boy if I'd named him something a little less unique, like Sam or John etc. Hmmmm....

  6. Honestly I would love the chance to go back in time and change my sons name.  And to make it even worse I did change his name when he was 2 months old.  I never liked his name and when talking over names with my husband told him no to the name we ended up naming him.

I had a long hard labor and ended up with a c-section. so I was pretty doped up when we were filling out the name paperwork (not to make an excuse) I told my husband to put whatever I didn't want to deal with it at the time (huge mistake!!) so we ended up naming our son Ezekiel. I never liked it.  my husband said okay we can change it since I disliked it so much. we ended up changing it but keeping it as his middle name; I wish I would have just taken it out all together but I can't now so...I'm dealing with it.

I realize I might sound kind of irresponsible (I really am not) but at the time all I wanted to do was hold him, not argue over names...

His name is now Tyler Ezekiel ( I realize tyler is kind of common but when changing his name I didn't want to change it to something too unusual since we were changing it from something unusual and family was kind of giving us a hard time)  I wish I would have named him Tyler Andrew (Andrew has a lot more mean to me)

  7. The only part of my daughter's name I would change is her last name.  You know what they say, hindsight is 20/20.

  8. I think itd be sweet to go back in time XD but no I would not change my childrens name...(I dont have any) I would stick with the one I gave my child
