  1. Australia.  I went backpacking there nearly 2 decades ago & loved it.  It was a working holiday and I travelled all over and enjoyed everywhere.  I think a holiday is important because I like to experience new places, cultures etc.  I like taking photos (which doesn't mean I'm a good photographer - you can hardly go wrong with a point-and-shoot camera!)  A change is as good as a rest so a holiday recharges the batteries - even though it may be a tiring holiday.  My choice is generally sightseeing, punctuated with breaks for coffee/capuccino etc and cakes!  If you do enough walking you can burn off the calories. . .  If I'm allowed more than one choice I would recommend Prague, Tallinn, Dubrovnik and many more eastern European former communist places,  which have lovely architecture.  Oh, and Venice is unique and really should be visited!  And then there are all the tropical places with palms and banana trees and sunshine.  So much to see, so little time.  THAT is why a holiday is important!
