hello - i would go to see the newly discovered gorillas and other endangered species in africa.  id go for two months and see everything i could possibly see while there.  i would also take advantage of some of the extreme sports available there, bungee jumping, caving, etc.  in fact, if I'm made redundant i might just do all this :)

I would love to go to Japan but i cannot stand long haul i used to go to Brasil back and forth from London and that flight was long enough and i think Japan flying time is longer.

I think that for me it would have to be mount patchu pitchu because it looks stunning and to be surrounded by all the history would be very inspiring.
