  1. That's a tough call, but I'd pick the Galileo-Makybe Diva colt. Given open choices though, I'd pick one by a mother who didn't race. For some reason, it seems those do better than those with mothers with a successful racing career.

  2. I would pick the Ap Indy - Azeri colt. "GO Baby Go"!

  3. I would pick the A.P. Indy-Azeri Colt because I love A.P. Indy! He is one of my favorites! Azeri was also a pretty fine filly, too! She was awesome in the 2002 Breeder's Cup Distaff!

  4. The first one. seems more promising.

  5. The AP Indy-Azeri colt. But just because I like AP Indy. And Azeri was pretty good. I think this one would have a good run at the track. But it's hard to tell since he's a colt.

  6. It's a difficult one as they are both first foals, and the mares' ability as a broodmare is unknown.  It is actually quite rare for a VERY good horse to produce a horse as good as, or better than, themselves.  Most top class horses come from moderate-good mares rather than the VERY best ones.

I have to say I'd pick the Galileo/Makybe Diva colt.  Galileo has been setting the world on fire with only his first few crops.  His oldest crop are only 4 and he is already responsible for such horses as Red Rocks, Soldier of Fortune, Teofilo, Sixties Icon, Nightime, etc.

I'm not saying that AP Indy is a now-show on the sire front, of course he's not, but Galileo is looking to be an exciting young sire for the future, whereas AP Indy is heading towards the end of his career.
