  1. 1775

Id tell the king to send send every ship and soldier to the americas. Id also assassinate george washington

  2. around the time of 2bc so i could fight the prehistoric caveman.  or the time of sinbad the sailor or the time of greek mythology so i could barbarian chop medusa's head off full stop.

  3. I agree with JazzFan, perhaps the 1920's, for the classic jazz and hear the original jazz greats perform in live concerts or live performances,  and the flappers  :)

  4. I would not like to live in any other period of history, as I would miss the modern conveniences to which I am much attached.  However, if I could visit different periods of history, I would enjoy that very much, provided i didn't have to stay there forever.  I am particularly interested in ancient and medieval history, and I would love to visit, say the festival of Bastet in ancient Egypt, the building of Stonehenge, I would like to see Cleopatra and Antony meeting in their barges on the Nile.  I would like to visit England in around 500 AD and find out once and for all whether there really was a 'King Arthur'.

However, I wouldn't want to live in any of these times permanently, I'd just like to visit.

  5. I would like to be a young adult in the late 1940's in New York City.  There was a lot happening and things were pretty good financially with lots of healthy growth.

If I had to live in another era, it would probably be on the coast of Italy in the 1800's.  A small fishing village away from politically influenced cities.

I've studied a lot of history and the problems people faced were amazing.

  6. 1920s Jazz Age!

It was just such a glamorous age in the U.S., plus the economy was as high as it ever was! You can't beat that! Put me in 1920s Chicago, New York, or Hollywood and I would be a happy chick.

2nd choice (I know I'm cheating, but this is too good!):

    1960s America:

Very turbulent time in America, but it's one of the most influential decades that really shaped America in the way that it is now. People were protesting, trying new drugs, etc. Plus it had KICK-*** music!

  7. As much as I love the Past I do need certain creature comforts; electricity, toilet paper, movies, edible food.  Thus my favorite period to plop down for a spell would be at the turn of the 20th Century specifically 1901 in New York with frequent trips to London and Paris and Buenos Aires.   New York was the birthplace of the AMERICAN film industry and it would be fun getting a jump on matters plus there was vaudeville and exciting restaurants and so much else that made New York the font of Civilization.  I would most likely move into the Waldorf Hotel and have a grand time.

    Peace////////\\\\\\\\\\\\

PS  When you perfect your time machine please give me a shout!

  8. I would live in the 1800's just because it seems to interest me the most!

  9. early 1940s. i would like to think i was one of the individuals who as responsible for the freedoms we have today.

  10. Maybe in Europe during the time when there were both Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon so I could see the interaction. Of course I'd probably last about 2 minutes there. ;)

  11. I would live in the Jazz Age, between 1920-30's, when jazz music and movies began. I would go to a jazz club and watch the jazz greats perform!!!
