I'd match Dan Boyle to "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace.

Two reasons:

(1) He introduced them at NBT6 in Tampa, FL, this was the song they opened with, and I always associate one with the other; and

(2) In leaving to San Jose, he unleashed some anger and frustration with the organization (justified, in my estimation) that I had never seen. Just seems to fit the sentiment of the song...
