And what club are they going to?

My answer: I'd take Thomas (from Pies) and young Rioli (from the draft) down to Kardinia Park.

  1. I would have Ryan Griffen from the Bulldogs...he is going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. I also like young Higgins and Everitt from the Dogs.

  2. You can all get ya stinkin' paws off Dale Thomas coz he is OURS!!  HAHAHAHA!!

  3. I don't know whether you'd have any room to fit Dale Thomas in the starting 22 down at Kardinia Park eh? Personally being a Melbourne supporter id be happy for us to get our hands on any young talent available, im not fussy... Lance Franklin from Hawthorn is the best young key forward in the game so i'd take him - an out-and-out matchwinner.  And as much as i dislike Collingwood i'd take Scott Pendlebury because he is a star and would give us a bit of class in a midfield brimming with blue-collar types...We have about as much chance of getting those two as we do of winning the flag next year...which is none.  I haven't seen much of the draftees but from what i gather we could do worse than to pick up David Myers from WA. He sounds like the complete modern day footballer with very good skills, height and ability to play in a number of roles - and win a lot of the pill importantly...

  4. Delidio (20) and Lance Franklin (20). I was going to say Luke Hodge but the old bloke's already 23.

  5. I'd take Foley from Richmond, and Adcock from Brisbane, going to Hawthorn. Adcock would increase the Backline with the departure of J. Smith and now D. Jacobs getting older. Foley would give a bit of pace in the centre and with Mitchell still there would be quite a good structure, especially with the young guys comming up and the likes of Hodge to rotate through the middle too.

  6. Dale Thomas and Joel Selwood down to Windy Hill

  7. I want Buddy Franklin of Hawthorn and I agree with you Ray A, it would be nice if Cyril Rioli was available at Geelong's turn to draft, but he won't. Still haven't heard for sure what pick Geelong loses taking Larry Donahue's boy on father-son.

  8. Thomas and Pendlebury

  9. I would take Jonathan Brown and Dale Thomas from Brisbane and Collingwood.

Since I support Adelaide, I know that they need a centre half forward and with Mark Ricciuto just retired and Simon Goodwin will be in his last year, Dale Thomas will be perfect for the mid field role.
