I think about it like this; teams always are more eager to gamble on big men (especially in the past - now that is the point guard) and Chris Bosh and Kaman are above league average, Darko is below and Sweetney seems to be a real flop there. (not even sure what ever happend to that guy)

I would move Howard (even with his issues), Barbosa, and Korver up in place of Milicic, Sweetney, and Hayes. That is really fairly good to say that 7 of the top 10 in the first round turned out to be respectable picks.  

You have 4 of the first 5 having been on the all star team so far, compare that with 1 each in 2004 & 2005 and none from the top 5 of the 2006 draft yet.

1) LeBron - Cleveland would never pull a Portland and pick Sam Bowie.

2) Wade - Detroit was picking for depth as they were a legit playoff team. Wade was projected the best player in that draft behind Lebron.

6) Kirk - I weep as Kirk would not be a Bull but he brings steel to a defense and is a perfect complement to another former Bulls lottery pick.

7) TJ Ford - I don't like Ford for the Bulls but the Bulls were stacked in the post and needed a point after Jay William's injury
