If you could run away to any country?

Question

Where would you go if you fled the country and only had 2,000 dollars?

I don't need to flee the country or anything. I am asking this question because I have always thought about things like this...

$2000 is just enough to fly to a country that I want to go but not to live.  However, if I have 200 mil., I would love to live in Italy or Southern France.

you won't get far on $2000. Consider someplace like Costa Rica, cheap land compared to the US, lower cost of living, paradise :)

costa rica. $2000 will go a long way. i backpacked across costa rica on $800 and the kindness of strangers for 3 months.
