  1. Cows

    I love hamburgers!

  2. dolphins.

  3. Ones that are alive now, or does it include critters that are already extinct?

If it were living critters, I'd probably pick the platypus - just because they're so unique and such an incredible example of the diversity and adaptation of the mammalian lineage.

If you include extinct critters, there's so many of them from throughout the history of the Earth that I'm picking one from each of several different eras:

From the Cenozoic, I'm picking Smilodon - the sabre-toothed tiger.  Because they're super-cool.

From the Mesozoic, I'm picking Deinonychus - the big raptor dinosaur that was really the critter they called Velociraptor in the JP movies.

Then, from the Paleozoic I'm picking a few:  Meganeura - the giant dragonfly, Arthropleura - an eight-foot long millipede, Jaekelopterus - an eight-foot long sea scorpion, Anomalocaris - the terror of the Cambrian sea, and Opabinia - the five-eyed vacuum-hose-nosed critter of the Burgess Shale.

Dang, I also want a mammoth, short-faced kangaroo, ankylosaur, trilobite and an ammonite.  Oh, and an Eohippus too.

This question is too hard for me!!
