  1. Watch out for internet predators on online games. I found out  that not all is fun and innocent on those games. Plenty of older gamers are ready and waiting there for lonely, bored kids.  .....And yes, I know not all of you are predators waiting to pounce out there.   Parents...just be vigilant and watch your kids and teens closely.

  2. In my case, I would have been forced to ask them is this:-

Why did you produce me in the first instance?

    What you gained from it?

Then I learnt (they married for s*x in the name of love - my mother did not want to give birth to children - my father did not know, he is going to produce children, but unfortunately this happened naturally and against to their will). After the death of my beloved and godly wife - I understood the life's philosophy i.e., unwanted birth and unavoidable death.

Though my parents were educated, they always treated me as an unwanted child, they used to fight always on petty things, they never tried to lead their life happily, they made my life miserable for the reasons unknown to me. My Father was too self-centered and my mother was too s****t type of woman. More than my Father, my mother did everything to mar my life. I always remember my Grand Mother (mother's mother) who reared me and brought me up. Otherwise, I would have gone to dogs.

So, my say to my parents are very different and extremely painful.

For my fortune or misfortune, both are not living now. It makes no difference to me.

I saw good Parents too but they were Parents of my friends.

    Hence no comments.

  3. I HATE YOU BOTH!!!

    (except you mum)

  4. love your children !!! :)

  5.   Thanks for bringing me into this beautiful world with such a wonderful parents like you!

  6. let your kids be kids

  7. Always be firm but fair.

  8. Count on all kinds of c**p once they get close to the teenage years, it actually starts around 11 these days, esp. for girls.  Don't fool yourself into believing that no matter how great of a parent you think you are that this won't happen.  It will.

  9. I would say to them, learn about your teenagers. Try to remember what being a teenager was like, and then support them. Don't hold them back, but don't ignore them either. Let them be who they are, cuz, don't worry, they'll find themselves. Let them wear what they want (unless it's to hoochie) and don't, above all things MESS WITH THEIR MUSIC!!!!

  10. Enjoy those young years with your child for they are gone in the blink of an eye.  As they get older, it's better to expect problems and be pleasantly surprised than to be surprised by the problem.  Don't try to rule with an iron fist for it will probably end up hitting you in the face.  At the same time, don't completely release that rope.  There is no certain age that a child can be considered an adult...other than for buying beer and voting!

  11. Thanks for ruining my childhood!

  12. i'm, 19 let me live my life let me experience thing's for myself with out you hanging on to my every step

  13. I love you both and I thank you both so much for being there for me.

  14. Teach your children to be tolerant of others and not to judge people harshly. There's alot of intolerance out there.

  15. don't be afraid to use spanking

    when all else fails..

  16. Don't lie to your kids about how well they do things when they really suck at it.  That creates a false self-image of their own capabilities and makes them completely unbearable when they get older. (think of the people in competitions like American Idol who really think they rock).

Find a way to compliment & encourage your children's interests and talents without lying.(i.e., Yeah, you blew that throw to first, but your running today was great - kinda thing).

Once these kids are adults and on their own without mommy & daddy to make it easy for them, they have to make their way based on how they were raised.

  17. stop trying to run my life!

  18. your time and caring is worth more to your kids than all the fancy things you can give them. lay with them hug them listen to them that they will remember

  19. such as life...
