If you could travel back in time - what time period would you want to visit and why?

I am participating in a ZINE Swap and the theme is "history through time". I want to get an overall idea of what time period many people would like to visit and why - Is it for the food, clothes, culture, or just the excitement of that place in time.

Around 35.000 years ago, when Homo Sapiens first appeared on the scene. Why? Just to see how it all went like;)

The 60's. Music was bomb, and everything about the era was cool.

I think I would have liked to have been a young adult during the post war period 1940 and on....this was the best time in America for prosperity and for affordable homes and growing companies.....it seems like all the parents I know, who are now very elderly, had more than we are able to afford today.

Plus, it was the last era of innocence, of wide open fields, of affordable homes...and they weren't paranoid to just live...as now we are told not to do this or that....it must have been a very nice and secure time then.
