No, I don't think of Saturn as negative...I never did, in fact. It's just that the 1st Saturn Return is usually a tough period of time for most people and so I thought it would be useful to learn from their mistakes instead of waiting to make them our own...

  1. Am I to ascertain that you ALWAYS and only think of Saturn as negative?  Not everyone has such a bleak view of life, you know.  We all grow up and change for the better sometimes.  I don't think we have the power to regulate any of the planets, even if they did influence our lives.  It's up to us to wise up, keep our eyes, ears and mind open and profit by the changes in life.

  2. I am not able to understan it :-(

  3. I quit my job and got a better one---kind of a pattern for me. I also started actively trying to heal from a truly putrid childhood--Those wounds no longer served me.I wouldn't have changed how I handled it because it worked out well. I think it's just a period of trying to decide what's working for us and what isn't. Getting rid of whats not working is not always easy. Any major changes can be nerve-racking.

  4. For me the return of saturn ; just change a bit my life for better ; but at 21 yrs ; there I had 180 degree turn in my life and its was wonderful ; even better than winning the lotto

  5. In my horoscope, Saturn is a heavy hitter, giving me a Grand Cross. My Saturn return was god awful. I broke up with my wife in Maine to go live with friends in Minneapolis. But I was so uncertain about the decision of divorce that I hitch hiked back and forth to Maine 3 times that summer, agonizing over my choices. In Minneapolis there wasn't room with my friends to stay with them, so I kept moving in as a housemate in various group homes. It seemed that nobody liked me; I moved 9 times in that one year.

Today, about the only thing I would have done differently is to see a therapist during this period. As it turned out, I found a very interesting niche in Minneapolis and found some very interesting new friends.

  6. If I had it to live over again, I would hide under my bed until it was over.   Seriously....

**edit... Ok.  It wasn't that awful.  But there were definitely some things I did that I am not proud of.  Can't go into most of it.  There may be 12 yr olds present.

  7. Wow, my Saturn return was, to say the least, traumatic. I changed jobs three times, went through a hard divorce, fell in love, remarried, went through a bankruptcy, lost a daughter, and got pregnant all in the span of a couple of years...it was pretty...um..stressful.

If I had to go back and re do something, I would have to say I would have been more aggressive in handling the difficult issues of that time, especially the divorce. I allowed my ex to take serious advantage of my emotional distress, and I would never allow that again.

Although Saturn yanked me into the right path of life, he could have been a little nicer about it.
