Ok I have been offerd a chance to breed my Pure Arab Mare Bay in Color conciderd "Egyptian Breed" but not pure egyptian to a Arab stallion and the fee will be coverd. I want to make a wise investment. My mare is of Good quality and a Beautiful mare well refined and 15+ hands tall . but not " Teacup Muzzled " or of "The Upmost Top Quality". She has Decent Bloodlines she is the grand daughter of SAR IBN Moniet on dame side and the daughter of Tru Fire Ibnazeem .

My Choice for her is Hu Shiek Iman a Black Pure Egyptian Stallion with Super Refinement and the Teacup Muzzle or a Khemosabi Son, Also I like the Grey Polish Stallion Envoy.

But I could use some advise. She is being bred this year to a Beautiful Thee Desperado Son.

So Any Recomendations and Reasons would be apriciated.

  1. There are several worth considering.  How did you manage that deal anyway?  Our arab mare is La Gaity and both grandsires are National world champions of Canada and/or the US.  We bred her to a local son of Mondyle and she produced a beautiful blood bay filly.  But we can not get teh money here that other breeders get because this is Missouri fox trotter country and if the horse is not gaited it is considered next to worthless here.  That is why we bought La Gaity for $400 about 8 1/2 or 9 years ago.  Beuatiful horse but because she was an arab, no body wanted her.

That's OK she is the horse I ride when on the cattle drive and she runs the quarter horses right into the ground.  BTW she is 20 now and not ridden much.  Completely sound but we ride gaited too on trails.

  2. Well Im a huge fan of Matoi, may times National Champion Park horse. I will attach 2 sites, I have worked for both places and they have a wide variety of stallions for reasonable prices. Shipped s***n.

first would be Cedar Ridge Arabians worked here for 6 yrs

    http://www.cedar-ridge.com/index.html

Second would be MIdwest also worked here

cant attach midwest's site, just google

  3. Depends on what you want  do with the baby. Plus is the stallion strong in conformation in place where you mare maybe weak? What does he throw? That's what you want to look at. One other thing, I loved Kemosabi but he was very small( I believe 14 hands) that could show up in your baby!
