Like i am 18 now and if if i could write a letter to myself to be given to me in the past it would read

Dear younger version of me,

I know it is hard to believe a grown up person like me was once a kid like you. Funny thing is I am you, only from the future. If there was a few things I have learned over the years it would be first off, love yourself and believe that you are more beautiful of a person inside and out that you give yourself credit for. Second off march 2007 don't go snowboarding down suicide hill, trust me it will end in bad news for you for the next 3 months. Also don't let yourself fall into the trap of being used and abused by those who you think love you, sorry sweetheart but all they care about is their own satisfaction, dont be a fool or a tool for them. You don't deserve that kind of treatment. Stay true to yourself and you will go so much farther. There will be times where you want to shut down and die, but keep going the night is darkest before the dawn and by time you get ready to graduate the dawn will have finally come for you. Oh and by the way remember to roll up your windows during band camp! Don't let stupid people ruin the fun, just go with the flow and live for the moment, never give up, and don't change to please others. You have a good future ahead trust me, but if I were you I would just stay on my toes and keep my nose clean. And for the love of god REMEMBER to lock the front door every night, and keep a can of pepper spray handy just in case. (and if Cj asks what happens when you microwave ping pong balls, just tell him to look it up on you-tube first)

All my love

future you

Now the question is...what would yours say?

  1. don't be lazy and try to do well in life instead of slacking off

    avoid the tv also

    it is your enemy

    enjoy being young and carefree

    learn from your mistakes

    make good choices,

they get harder when you grow up

  2. I would say,

You need to understand the impact you have on your friends. They're wonderful people and you're really hurting them. I know you care about them and you don't mean to hurt them, but you are hurting them and you need to stop being so self-centered. Have some empathy.

Also, you ought to take more personal responsibility around the house. Clean up your messes more. And be nicer to your little brothers, they're younger then you and you can't expect them to be as mature as you are.

And it's wonderful to be unique and individual and all that. But the nail that sticks out the most gets hammered the hardest. Try to fit in more at the beginning of the school year. Be outgoing and if no one seems to want to be friends with you, make friends with them. Don't be afraid of other people.

    Signed, your future self.

  3. Hey !@#HOLE....NEVER START SMOKING CIGARETTES. Here are the winners of the next 20 Super Bowls: *list*

Don't cheat on your 8th grade science test. Don't smoke pot outside of the gym door freshmen year on your birthday. Don't smoke pot at work on your 19th birthday. The dog didn't die, mom just gave it away. Don't be a Jets fan. Watch out for that telephone pole in Edgewater. Watch out for that 18 wheeler in Newark. Don't date girls who's names begin with D. Stay in the gym and keep running track. Never go to a car show in NY...just trust me on that one. Oh and make sure you pick out your own d**n clothes while growing up....again...trust me on that one.

  4. mine would say: 4 life in general(my younger self)

    1. Nothing is as easy as it looks.

    2. Everything takes longer than you think.

3.If anything can go WRONG it will.

But CHEER up! younger self things may be getting worse but at a slower rate. hahaha

PS: Older self is just a big ball of sunshine...haha

  5. Dear Younger Me,

You should know that Mitchell is a skeezbag and doesn't deserve to be with you. When he asks you out, dump a milkshake on his head and run in the other direction. Don't even speak to him. Ever. If you do you'll just get into tons of trouble, and you'll lose some of the things that are most important to you. And no guy is worth that. Pay more attention to school and having fun with your friends rather than finding Prince Charming. You're only 13, you have your whole life to do that.

P.S. Don't get your haircut at the cheapy place at the mall because the salon doesn't have an opening. Wait, or you'll wind up with hideous uneven hair for months. Lol.

    Luv Ya!

-Me/You...I'm not really sure which it is.

  6. Mine would say: Dear self do not let your hubby be a control freak or give into him. Make him be a man instead of letti ng him get away with his little boy antics. Love me. ~*~

J is gonna be your bf =] your gonna fall in love with him and on june 13 your gonna have your 1st kiss =]=]=] get unlimited texting on your phone b/c when u guys start going out ur gonna rack up a huge bill =O and dont worry about him going on vaca for 2 weeks b/c your gonna text everyday. and when you get you new phone text him aysap even if he says he "lost his phone" then you guys arent going to talk for a while but u still love him and are hoping he does too then your gonna end up looking for advice on yahoo answers and stumble on a question that asks you to write a letter to your past and your gonna write it and relize you really need to text J. btw hes going to a  different high school =[ its gonna suck a lot but stick through it and hopefully you'll stay together =]

  8. Mine would say, "wise up, dummy!"

  9. 1. In 97 when your mother throws up at the grocery store take her to a doctor don't pass it off as her forgetting her pills,  she will suffer a massive stroke at 50 two weeks from that date.

    2. In 94 don't leave the best person to come your way because of your own stupidity.

    3. Oh don't drop out of college, go for criminal justice or to be a paralegal.

  10. Main points:

    - Live in the moment

    - Your reputation is important ! but dont live life off what others think

    - spend your money carefully

    - HAVE FUNNNNNN !

    xoxo,

    Mimi :D

  11. Dear Aisha,

This is you, from the future. Now, you're imaginative--I know you'll believe me, or at least try to...okay, here's proof I'm you: Your favorite color is purple, you have a twin brother, and right now you're probably still planning to get married to Jack K.W, and you're four years old. So, here's my advice to you, having lived your life:

Take a couple more risks. God knows you can stand to, sweetie.

Don't let people bring you down, don't give up guitar lessons only to stop and start again and again, have more fun, don't ever forget to be tolerant of your brother and to love him as much as your little heart possibly can. Write down what you feel, but NOT IN SCHOOL NOTEBOOKS. This will land you in hella trouble, believe you-me. Avoid Audrey's cooking, and your figure will thank you later. Eat peanut-butter sandwiches or something. (:

Also, when you get a little older, GO. FOR. EMMET. Don't hold back, whatever you do. I love you, even though sometimes it seems nobody does. Trust yourself to fall. Scrape your knees a couple times. Learn to rollerblade. Become the woman you want to be, and don't settle for less, ever, ever.

    Love you,

    Aisha-of-the-future.

  12. Hey girlie =D

In 2002, the summer before 5th grade, join band, you won't regret it. Continue it throughout high school, and you'll get over your shyness quickly.

Avoid Amanda at all costs, bad example, and you'll be hurt by her actions, even if they aren't directed at you.

Don't go to Snowcoming freshman year, you'll earn a stalker.

  13. I wouldn't get all deep, because I'm not one to regret things.  I deal with what happens and whatever mistakes I make.  So I wouldn't warn myself about all the trouble.  I had a lot of fun that came with the bad stuff.  I would just say that I don't know if things will ever settle down but they'll definitely get better and there will be a huge surprise. (I'm pregnant) =]

I like yours.  It's cute.  Dare I ask about the ping pong balls? lol!  =]

  14. Don't be in a rush to grow up.

Don't put your stupid boyfriend before university.

Marriage isn't as important as you think it is.

Live your life before you have children.

Travel as much as you can.

That being said, I wouldn't change what I have now for the world.

  15. dear past me.

listen to mom she is right.  she may be a bit extreme but believe me she is the one who loves you most.  she may be itchy, mean, icy but she is trying to protect your future.  those people you call friends are using you.  your first used you.  your friends made fun of you behind your back. make better friends. there will be a time when you are all grown up and you can do all that mom doesn't allow you too. the difference is you are mature enough to handle it.

  16. Dear younger me.

Please don't be down, there are many beautiful things out there including you. You don't need a boyfriend right now, listen to your parents, help them out and be nice to your siblings. Even though you stress, you will get through it, you always do.

Go for the extra mile it won't hurt, keep up with your school work and do your homework. Be more talkative and express yourself more and stop wearing so much black...

Be more happy about your life and try not to let the littlest thigns in life bring you down.

    Yours sincerely filled with love,

    Future you.

  17. i would say, a lot of things to my self. like, even public school won't make things better. don't do school house theater or cflc. i would also say that i would become friends with erin, that caitlin, lexi, shelby, and paige would desert me. really stuff that impacted me emotionally big time. i'd also tell myself not to be shy about asking out jake or cody, because opportunities don't last forever.

  18. on march 14th 2008 wesley will agree to go out with you and don't be shy this time!!
