  1. Well it wouldn't get as tall as 14.5 :) - actually I am sure you just had a missprint as I am confident you know that hands are 4 inches each, so a horse could be 14 hands, 14.1 (14 hands and 1 inch), 14.2 (14 hands and 2 inches), or 14.3 (14 hands and 3 inches), but after that it would go to 15 hands. Just wanted to clarify that for any non-horsey people that might stumble on this question.

Anyhow, on to the question -

I have seen a few quarter horse/Morgan crosses, and all of them have been pretty good size (15-15.3hands) and around 1000-1200lbs. Very nice horses as well.

I have Morgans, and my brood mare is very small (14.1 about 850-900 lbs). She has pretty good size foals(14.3-15.3) when bred to other Morgans, but when I bred her to a Friesian, she had a slightly bigger baby (matured to 16h and 1000lbs with a bit more filling out and muscling up to do still).

  2. it depends on the d**n and sire and is the Morgan a old stile or new the older stile of Morgan are larger and taller the newer stile are more small and delicate and the quarter horse big tank of a horse or a light worker i guess it would depended on the horses you breed were my horse is his  his half brother is also boarded and hes a qua/morg cross d**n Morgan sire quarter and her a good 15 hands so it just depends hope this helps

  3. Yes, it would get at least 14hh. I say 14hh to 16hh depends on the horses. I have Morgans & mine ave 15hh. None of mine are in the 14hh's. I have 16hh Morgan mare. They are great cross.
