If I am taking a large amount of B6 & 12 vitamins,

although I do not have a short luteal phase I don't think, will they still stretch my luteal phase even further?

This is what I am hoping.

  1. If you don't have a defect, there really isn't any point in trying to stretch it.  Though the vitamins won't hurt you, definitely.  How long is your LP?

  2. I agree that unless you've got LPD there is no reason to stretch out your luteal phase. In fact, if you stretch out a non-pregnant LP you're delaying the start of your next cycle, and in turn delaying the possibility of getting pregnant. If you did manage to add 2 days to each month that would be the same as 24 days over the year, which is like removing one entire cycle and one entire possibility of being pregnant. Why do that?!

ps: never take more than 200mcg B6 because it can cause nerve damage.
