  1. Into your lungs. It is quite difficult to to prevent CO2 from releasing. If you keep plants especially, it goes towards their photosynthesis.


  2. Basically, it "collects" in the air and saturates it. It can have the same effect as turning on a car, letting it run in a closed garage.  get a carbon monoxide detector and kep some windows open

  3. No home is airtight enough to keep gases in.  That's good, what with flatulation and dirty socks.  Typically there's at least one air exchange per hour.  CO2 from a gas cook stove is ventilated to the outside atmosphere in an hour or two.

    It goes outside, even with windows closed.
