Yes if the traffic signals are coordinated or synchronized, chances are you will see less red lights. The reason is that the traffic engineers set the sync speed at or near the speed limit of the main road. If you drive the speed limit there's a strong likelihood you'll hit the green window thru the highway, with very little delay.

i dont think this is true, b/c once you hit a red light say in the city, you will hit a red light at EVERY street.  but im not sure about in the subs...ill test this out on the way to school tmr.
