Or do all 11th grade scores get tallied? What happens if you do very badly on your 10th grade score, then will you get into any good colleges?

  1. No, it's the Psat, (sat prep) so it wont,

  2. PSATS DO NOT COUNT AT ALL FOR COLLEGES. COLLEGES DO NOT SEE 10TH OR 11TH GRADE SCORES. THEY ARE PURELY PRELIMINARY JUDGEMENT FOR HOW YOULL DO ON THE SAT.

THE ONLY THING THAT MIGHT COUNT IS IF YOU DO WELL ON THE 11TH GRADE PSAT, YOU MIGHT QUALIFY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP. THATS ALL.

  3. I'm not sure how it is in your school, but in mine, the 10th grade one is purely for practice. Scores do not count, and will not hurt. Go on collegeboard, maybe?

  4. PSAT stands for Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test, therefore its only practice if you score high and depending on your index number you will be gualified to be in the NMSQT(National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) this is a scholarship that is awards to many but only the ones who do well on the PSAT. Sorry you are just going to have to keep those skills up for the SAT's.

  5. The PSAT is just a preparatory SAT test.  It is not tallied at all.  It just used to see how you would do on the SAT itself.  If you do badly on it, it will show you where you need to improve before taking the SAT.  If you did well it will still show you which areas need to be studied just to make yourself do your best on the SAT.
