I come from a family that believes in God. If we Klumps didn't believe in him there would be no way we could get through each day without saying, "Please, God, let Cletus say one more thing to me so I can go over there and kick his a$$." or "Please, God, send me that strong virile Buddy Love."

There is no reason to not believe in god. Go ahead and keep believing in god. Heck, I wish I believed in god.  People who believe in god generally tend to have morals. They believe they should do the right thing because god is watching them. Believers, to me anyways, look like they feel like they have a purpose in life and are spiritual. Most importantly, believers believe. I hate being doubtful and cynical.

I discovered many years ago that I could not show that God exists.  I made a personal choice that I wanted God in my life, and I wanted the God of the Bible and Jesus Christ, His son, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.  

This is when my belief became true faith.  Early in my life I would say that I KNEW God existed, but when I was tested that is when I recognized that I live by faith.

I think this is the faith of a Child that the Bible speaks of.

The Way I see God!

God is not an image,

a Spirit or a Being.

God is a Presence,

I will never see him.

Though he's all around me,

Every where I go,

He caste's not a shadow,

but a warm and loving

Glow.

Whenever I am lonely,

Or feeling sad

and blue.

I reach out,To him,

For he will see me through..

Then in my Darkest hours,

I know without a doubt,

He'll take me by the hand,

And show me

the way out.

So now you have

the picture,

of what God is to me.

hmm.. i'm not exactly sure what the ethiest is.. did you mean atheist?

1: prove to me he does exist. there's no tangible PROOF that he does exist. (the bible says so is not the correct answer, neither is "because he does" or "i know he does" because that is not proof.. and if you think it is, look up the definition of proof).

there's more evidence suggesting that god doesn't exist than there is evidence suggesting he does exist (if there is any).

also, please use the search feature before you ask questions.  you might find that this question is asked at least 25 times a day.
