  1. I dunno...

  2. Nature. The beauty of the trees, the fields, the breeze on my face, my pets that make me smile, the sun gently whispering warmth over my skin.

Problem with those that believe in God is that they can never fully appreciate these things, since when they feel them or see them, they believe 'God did it'.

I believe it just is. And that makes it all the more beautiful. I appreciate myself for that.

  3. To make myself useful to others; to learn things; to enjoy my days as much as possible within an ethical framework; to be compassionate, creative, honorable and all that good stuff.

Should I go get the Ethical Society Core Values sheet off the refrigerator door and copy it in, or just give you a link you can use?

  4. They don't realize but soon they won't have a life without God. Only outer darkness. But Christians that are born again will have all eternity.

  5. For myself.

  6. I quite enjoy living. I consider it preferable to nonexistence, at least for the time being.

  7. Quite a lot, actually. I get a kick out of life without a false belief in a deity, what a shocking idea. Does that mean if you didn't believe in God you'd commit suicide?

  8. your right! Holy c**p!.......*kills self*

  9. I believe in life, what i have here and now. I try to live life to the fullest and make the most of what i have. i believe in God a lot, but sometimes i jsut don't because i feel he ignores me too much (srsly). I believe in trusting others instead of having hope in someone who, even if he exists, would let you die.

  10. Helping other people!  There is no need to live for a being when you can live to make the beings around you better!  I don't need an invisible sky man to tell me to feed the hungry, clothe the cold, etc.  In fact, though his book says to do it, his people rarely do!

  11. If you need a "god" in order to live your life, then I pity you.

  12. Are you freaking kidding me? seriously are you? what am i living for?...I am living because the people at the mental ward got me in a stray jacket

  13. Friends and family. Other people as well and animals too, I love animals...

  14. That might be why my life is so miserable. But I was brought up to believe in something different.

  15. What an excellent question!

i think that so many people are caught up in the ways of the world....that they dont even realize what this life is all about!

All they focus on is money, good times, and themselves!

Dont they know that what they have here in this lifetime is the only thing that they are ever going to have.......they will never get to experience Paradise with Jesus and God!......they have already had their rewards!

        1 John 2:15-17

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever.

Please lose the pride and accept Jesus into your life before its too late.

    with love...."D"

  16. Myself, and those closest to me.

  17. Lots of stuff.  That's why I don't need to make up fake reasons like a god.

  18. I'm living for my gods, the earth, and those I love. I'm not groveling in shame before a megalomaniacal god who demands my fealty lest I be cast into a lake of fire.

  19. Oh yes, because our lives must automatically be meaningless if we don't have a magical invisible being in the sky to talk to.

Honestly, I hope you actually mean "what gives your life meaning?" In that case I would say it varies day by day, I have no set list. There are just random reasons why life is worth living and usually those reasons find you instead of you finding them.

  20. I find life very well worth living, what else would you do with it?

  21. Life Broken Angle, life.

    Isn't it grand.

  22. i live for all the real things in life, I thought it was only little children that had imaginary friends?

  23. Thought one: A Chrisian condoning Atheists to do suicide?

Thought two: Life is life, and that *is* the meaning. It doesn't have to be as difficult as people think!

Thought three: What a sad life you must have, living for something you can't prove exists. Lonely, sad, life.

Thought four: If you're serious, I sure am glad I'm not you.

  24. The Flying Spaghetti Monster (sauce be upon him).

  25. you really prove to me the stupid reasons people believe in God for.

  26. I live to make the best of my life, be there for family and friends, and help others.

See, we can do that without invoking mythology.

  27. I'm going to spend my meaningless life helping others.

  28. Like (a) "God" is ALL there is to live for.

    Wow, sad.

I live for my kids & family; I live for all the people I help and those I will help.

  29. You need god to live?  I don't understand your question.

I devote my life to more constructive things than superstition.

  30. You're right!! Why didn't I see that before? Thank you Jesus! I'm saved!!!

Phew! Now I have something to live for.

  31. New experiences, learning new things, and just having fun in general.
