  1. Well, it kind of depends on how many excess calories you are eating every day. If you have one high-calorie meal its probably not going to make you gain weight. But if you had a really high-calorie meal every day then maybe.

    When I am really hungry, I go for lower calorie choices. That way, I can eat more and feel full...but not have too many calories.  


  2. I would say yes. Calories is what determines if you will gain weight, not feeling full. You could eat a bunch of fiber with few calories and your stomach would feel full. Fat (like butter say) is a calorie dense food, so just a little bit will go a longer way to making you fat, without making you feel full at all.
