If you don't go to the doctor, as requested by ssi, will they automatically turn you down for benefits?

I have depression and I gave them all the hospitals, doctors, etc to investigate, but I dont want to go to their doctor. I dont want to go out of this house. Will they deny me automatically?

  1. Yes they will,  you need to find a way to get to the Dr appt they set up for you.  If you don't go they will assume that what your saying is not true.

Yes the information you sent them was insufficient this is why they are asking you to see there doctor.also on appeal not seeing there doctor wont look good if you have to appeal. most the time if you see there doctor there is no need for appeal it is most likely approved.so it is beneficial to see there doctor for that one time visit
