If you don't have air conditioning or fans, how do you keep cool?

The power has gone out. No generator. Temperature 98 degrees. HELP!!

  1. lots of ice water! pat yourself down with cool washclothes, or if you have a spray bottle handy, mist yourself with cool water


  2. You don't.

    You just take your clothes off and enjoy the heat.

  3. wear as little as possible an sleep with only a sheet

  4. Back In The Old Days ( before Electric ) down on the Plantations we'd sit on the side porch ( away from the sun ) and drink cool drinks, fan ourselves with newspapers and go swimming in the back yard..or just turn the hose on ....

    Today, I'd say " Rent A Generator " So You Can Operate Several Fans, at least.


  5. fill up a bathtub or the likes with ice and lie in it  if you had a fan with a battery it works like an air conditioner

  6. Run cold tap water on your wrists. It helps to cool your body temperature a little.
