If you draw social security and did not file taxes will you get the economic stimulious payment, what if no one work last year and did not get social security and did not file taxes

  1. If you got an SSA-1099 that showed $3000 or more in box 5, and you are NOT claimed as a dependent on someone else's taxes, then you can file a 1040A for 2007 and get the $300 stimulus.  

    Thanks to AARP's last minute lobbying, SSA benefits count as qualifying income. SSI does not.


  2. Then you don't get a stimulus.  You should have received a packet from the government telling you what to do and what form to file to get the stimulus.
