If you draw social security can a credit card company garnish your social security check?

No. A SS check can only be garnished for back taxes,student loans and child support. A credit card company cannot garnish your check.

They can however,get to your bank account if you have a joint account with someone or have other money in your account that was not gotten by SS. Make sure you have a single bank account and that the only money that goes into it is money from SS.

NO,,Never..I quit paying those sob's years ago because of higher interest rates and fees and told the to stick it...and they can't do a thing about it ..the statue of limitations has also run out and they got what they diserved...NOTHING
