  1. In Germany children drink from a very young age and there are no problems associated with minimal alcohol consumption (the people I have known drank half a dozen drinks a year and grew up with no problems linked to the alcohol).  The issues tend to arise when they drink heavily. However problems from heavy drinking can occur at any age.

  2. I wouldn't recommend you drink alcohol at the age of 14 but as long as you don't let it become a bad habit there isn't really anything wrong with a drink of alcohol a few times a year. I'd suggest you talk to your parents about it, and make sure they know what you are drinking, and when you are drinking it, there shouldn't be a problem. Be very careful with alcohol though, because it can be deadly. Drink sensibly

  3. no, thats not serious at all.

if you start getting p**s drunk more than twice a week, thats a problem.

  4. i don't think so.iv Ben drinking since i was 12. I'm 36 and i probably consume beer 1 every 2 or3 months.but i have a 10 yr old daughter and don't agree with drinking unless shes 17 or18 and in my company because guys will take advantage of her

  5. Check your familys history on this kinda thing, because it could turn into more than one or twice a year if a lot of drinking is in your faily history. if you start having more because you think its okay but then you start to feel like you need it when you don't have it for awhile then you might need to worry about it. i hope this helps.

  6. It's not serious but the habit should be curbed?

  7. every drink does damage.. especially to those under 25..

now the whole glass of wine thing, witht he antioxidants outweighting alcohals ability to raise blood pressure still stand so i guess extreme moderation of wine is permissable.. but still not legal

  8. NO

  9. You probably mean drinking a large amount of alcohol, so as to lose (temporarily) some of your control -- even just to get a bit "high-spirited"?  To get drunk is always damaging.  It can cause you to behave in a stupid way that later on you should feel ashamed of (but unfortunately, some people will look back on it as a joke); or in a way that is disgusting to people with you; or it can even increase the danger of bringing injury or death to yourself or others by rash behaviour.  And repeated drunkenness can destroy some of your brain cells, permanently reducing your intelligence.

The other danger is that you can get sucked in to indulging in it too often.  Probably it won't stay at "twice a year".

  10. It's not bad if you drink twice a year at age fourteen.  I got drunk for the first time when i was fouteen,  and i probably drank more that year i assume, i don't recall exactly.  but ive drink  with friends and family for years since then its not really a big deal if its something that happens infrequently and your careful and safe.

  11. I think you know what everybody's answers are going to be for this one, yes, but without any explanation that you havent heard. I know that you've heard all the reasons why drinking is bad for somebody your age, but what people don't bother to go into detail about is the unexspected ways that drinking can s***w up your life. My ex is probably wondering what really made me break up with him, the final straw was when I caught him lying about drinking. He doesn't even know that I did, but since I already suspected he was cheating this was the final straw. He'd told me before the lying incident that he'd started drinking at age 11 - among other things, and that it turned him into a completely different person - an a**hole if you will. He's been through two marriages and if i do say so myself, has just really lost a great girl that would have done anything for him.

You never know what you're walking away from, when you walk toward alchohol.

  12. It is very serious.  You could die, go to jail, or worse you could give birth to a half human, half demon child.  This has been known to occur when evil spirits take advantage of young brains that are not developed enough to handle the inebriating effects of alcohol.  What would you do with your demon child?  You might be forced to move to Liberia with it!!!!  Do not drink.

  13. no, i dont think one drink once or twice a year will hurt you. actually, in Europe they often give their children small glasses of wine with their meals-its just that when kids drink too much it is bad for them. their bodies are still growing, and alcohol can affect them, so that's why it is best to wait till you are older-but then, overindulgence is bad at any age-even when you are an adult.
