  1. if you drink alot of water you can have alot of fluid and you can die

  2. uhh... if you dont go to the bathroom?? then.. yeah.. i think something would end up exploding somewhere...

  3. your bladder will be pretty full, you'll explode!

  4. Water intoxication (also known as hyperhydration or water poisoning) is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits by over-consumption of water.[1] Normal, healthy (both physically and nutritionally) individuals have little to worry about accidentally consuming too much water. Nearly all deaths related to water intoxication in normal individuals have resulted either from water drinking contests, in which individuals attempt to consume more than 3 gallons (10 litres) of water over the course of just a few minutes, or long bouts of intensive exercise during which electrolytes are not properly replenished, yet massive amounts of fluid are still consumed

  5. you can die but you need to drink alot. you can get water poisining. Haven't you heard of that women who drank the water for the radio contest and died?

  6. If you drink a gallon of water in a number of minutes then yeah you might die that's what happened to a girl on a TV show. If you drink a lot of water trough out the day then that is good just go to the bathroom

  7. if you drink alot of water in a short amount of time then you could get water poisoning and then die

  8. no. in fact water clears your facial complexion.

  9. what??

    Water is healthy

  10. Unless you drink way too much very quickly, nothing would happen.  I imagine you'd throw up if you filled your belly with too much water too fast.

  11. There have been news reports of fraternity hazing incidents making young men drink gallons and gallons of water at a time and this killed them due to over saturation.  In other words, the over abundance of water in their bodies caused an electrolyte imbalance and they died.  Drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day is recommended and won't kill you but drinking way too much water at once will kill you.

  12. water is good for it cleanses you body nothing will happen but you may have to go to the bathroom a lot

  13. It is possible to drink too much water and can actually be deadly. The old notion to drink, drink, drink as much water as possible is now being reconsidered. And, with good cause.

Too much water has been shown to be the cause of death for several fraternity pledges (through hazing incidents that involve forcing the pledges to consume large quantities of water) and athletes. It's always been said and I've heard it many times myself, that drinking water was your best bet during strenuous exercise. Now, we have to be concerned with how much is too much.

The condition of your body when you've consumed too much water is called hyponatremia or "water intoxication." This occurs when an abundance of water causes sodium in the blood to become diluted. Add this to the fact that we sweat salt and it's easy to see why the amount of sodium our bodies need would decrease. This decrease can cause swelling in the brain that can lead to coma or death.

This is a favorite way of committing suicide by people in prison and confined to mental institutions.
