If you drop a water balloon from the top of the Empire State Building, will it pop before it hits the ground?

Or will it pop in mid air, due to wind, etc.?

What? it depends doesn't it? On how strong the material is, how thick, what its going to encounter, etc.

All things being equal, the best answer I can give you is if it can survive for the amount of time it takes to get to the bottom from the top of the ESB, on a table in a room, then it wont pop. What I mean by that is if the balloon doesn't pop by it self after a short amount of time, just sitting on a table in a room, it wont pop in free fall... hope that makes sense...
