How does the Veggie Delite taste?

And what do you know of that is not very fattening.

  1. I think it tastes fine.  You don't even notice that there is no meat on it.  The turkey, ham, turkey ham, club, roasted chicken and chicken teriyaki are all low-fat as long as you skip the cheese and put low-fat dressing like honey mustard or sweet onion on it.


  2. It is ok but not very filling - you can still add meat with out adding too much fat. You need protein to burn fat.

    I like getting the whole wheat bread, chicken breast, lettuce, cucumbers, onions, pickles (which add alot of flavor and help you loose weight), and mustard.

    Salt and pepper add unnecissary calories and i find dont add much as a differance.

    Try to stock up on lots of flavorful veggies (peppers, pickles, onions) all these things add a lot of flavor without needing the extra sauces that actually add up to a lot of extra fat.

    Mustard is low fat and has a lot of flavor.

  3. It's okay.  I never really liked it but it's allright for a casual lunch.

  4. Like the best sandwich you can imagine. I get mine with chipotle mayo no mustard and pepper-jack cheese. I also do not like to put vinegar and oil. If you end up liking this then you should try the veggie max which is the same but with a veggie patty that is awesome.

  5. I never liked it, and all subways sandwiches are pretty healthy.. try the Subway melt! With American cheese & ranch and whatever toppings you want UGH its so good

  6. its the only thing i get there.  i love it on wheat bread with provolone cheese and mayo and mustard.  if you get an employee who is skimpy with portions just ask them to put a little extra of something.  i just say could i get extra olives please they're my favorite.  i find the foot long very filling but the six inch not so much.

  7. i worked there for three years and after a while you get sick of all the subs, so i tried a veggies. Since subway puts on three pieces f meat and three tons of veggies anyway, dont you ever feel like youre just eating lettuce anyway??  Instead of putting mustard or mayo on it, just make your favorite sub veggies without the meat and ask them for ranch (and if you dont like ranch whatever dressing you do like). its actually vry good.

    Also ask for your bread toasted BEFORE you add the veggies, its like a crouton then.

  8. The veggie delight is wonderful, if you go to a good Subway.  

    All Subway sandwiches are high quality and they list what has what for calories and fat!  The sweet onion sauce is super tasty on the veggies

  11. I have not yet tried the Veggie Delite . But for something low fat  I like to get the turkey on whole wheat with tomato, onion, lettuce, banana peppers, mustard , bell pepper, salt, pepper,  a little oil and vinegar. This is making me hungry just thinking about it. It's almost 12pm where I live and I am about to go on my lunch break where I work.
