All time when I'm wearing Flip Flops I just slip them off and throw them under the seat haha.  Its not illegal that I know of.

Cant drive. I'm getting license next year, so that will be cool I would drive barefoot all the time.

I do a lot.  Especially on my long commute or long drives.  My feet tend to get hot when I drive so I always take my shoes off, or at least carry flip flops in the car.

when im just going to the store i do or i do to friends houses because it is not ilegle in florida. and i live on the beach side. so i guess it depends on what state you live in

i always drive barefoot if im wearing flip flops that day or after work if my shoes r hurting my feet - its illegal in ca but i dont care!

All the time, it makes no difference as long as you are experienced.  You don't have to if you don't want to
