If you fail your permit test in CA 3 times, do you have to get in line & go through the entire process again?

After failing the permit test three times, you have to wait 7 days like usual, but do you have to get in line and go through the entire process like the first time again?

No you don't

If you paid the money (which i think was 28$)

And took your picture and took the test (and failed)

Wait a week and then go back to retry

In your case you failed 3 times which is not a problem because

If you look at the bottom of your non-official permit, it says "If this application is not completed by 'the date you took your picture + a year', it will be canceled"

Just go up to the desk where the person hands out the tests and go pass the test!

So you have a whole year to do it

I don't see why not.  You won't be able to jump to the front of the line.

IF you fail your permit test, you suck at driving.

Unfortunetly yes, you also have to pay the fees over again

Why don't you just make an appointment then you won't have to stand in line??You can get up to 5 wrong, its worse when you don't pass the behind the wheel test you always feel like crying :-\
