Question

In this case regarding residential building permits and inspections. And we have already talked with the Director and City Manager. The town we live we are new to. It is a very small town in Texas about 6000 in pop. The inspectors pass the same jobs using the same contractor. Then in our case they say to do it over. It took an act of God just to find out the violation. And now we are waiting for these in writing. The contractor states that he did the same type of work at other addresses and they passed??? My question is who do we report this to ?? or hire a Civil Attorney? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Inspectors have quite a bit of discresion

Fix the problems and get them reinspected.
