Herpes cannot be cured and having flareups is a part of the game.

I personally would not marry someone who had it, let alone date someone who had it. If someone was not up-front with me before being intimate I would probably go after them legally, this is not fun or something that you just "bring up later". It is difficult when you have it to find someone but be patient and I'm sure you'll find someone who has it as well and you can find happiness.

Herpes can be controlled. You do not have to use a condom every time you have s*x.

In this day and age sexual diseases are more common. It is estimated that 1 in 4 persons has some type of sexually transmitted disease.

Be open and honest about your condition. If you hide it and then tell later it seems sneaky and the person will distrust you.

My wife told me before we ever had s*x for the first time. I was mad and confused but learned more about it. We have been married for 13 years.

Furthermore, be prepared to tell your lover where she/he can get more info so she/he can make up her own mind. Don't try and force the issue.

umm no thats nasty and i hope you didnt have s*x with this person you are talking about, dont you wish the person that gave you herpes warned you before you slept with them, having herpes is just as bad as HIV/AIDS because you can die from it and there is no cure...I personal think people that are sick should have a tatto on there forehead so the whole world will know.
