If you file a H1B transfer do u get an extension at the same time?

My H1b visa expires within 1&1/2 month and i am filling a transfer to a new employer. Do i need to file an extension at the same time or doing a transfer will automatically mean having an extension at the same time?

You really need to talk to a lawyer.  You need a new H-1B, there are no transfers.  But I do not think you are constrained by the cap.  I think the new visa will be three years - if your current visa is almost up, this is your last H-1B visa.
