If you file a false police report and then later file a correct one can you get in trouble?

When my dad's car was stolen I reported it stolen he had forged it in his name so when filing the report I said I was driving the car.....my dad who is abusive and was inside watching me file the report didn't want me to mention his name because he doesn't have a drivers license and forged it in my name. Later after he went up north I went to the police station and corrected the police report can I get in trouble if the truth came out after the abuser had gone up north.

You could, but given the situation as you describe it, a District Attorney would likely not pursue charges against you.  If it should ever come up, make sure to explain to them the reason for the original report.
