If you find out at basic training that you are pregnant but...

Question

hide it and are able to graduate, will they still discharge you once they find out or is it like once you graduate and are in, you're in?

Just wondering, not for myself ;)

I'm not sure, but i'd say that you or she or whoever ;) will get discharged... Still i don't think that's healthy for the baby to continue training :p

They would find out if someone is pregnant it's called pregnancy test.

You certainly shouldn't hide it because we were given a lot of shots while we were in and they might not be good for the baby.  I think we were given a pregnancy test once we arrived just for that reason.

in meps the military entry physical a woman is tested for pregnancy then so if a person gets pregnant during basic they can not only get introuble but they can get who ever knocked them up in the first place introuble as well.  when i was in basic training a training instructor got a woman prego and the military kicked him all the way back  to airman rank.  he also got in extreme trouble and was given the choice to marry her or face being discharged .if the father is another airman dating during basic is not allowed and if it is found out that other person gets kicked out as well as the one who is prego

yes you will be discharged.  not something you can hide.  besides, they test you upon arrival for  pregnancy anyway..and its the far more accurate blood test, not the drug store box test.  and if you get pregnant while there, well thats a whole other ball of wax and you will face punishment for unauthorized activities.
