If you flew into space and traveled in a straight line forever, where would you end up?

  2. I've heard and read that space has no center and no edge. Therefore, you would just keep going and going and going..........etc.Unless of course you ran into something.

  5. If the universe is expanding, and you are going slower than the expansion rate, you would keep going forever.  Otherwise, you would reach the outer edge of the universe, and start following the edge (and go all the way around inside the edge of the universe.  

  6. Supposedly, space is infinite, and it keeps expanding (leaving the idea that some infinities are greater than others). Confusing, huh? So, you would just keep traveling forever, there isn't an end. However, you may accidently run into a star or planet or something if you don't move out of the way.

  7. Strangely enough, under general relativity you end up back where you started! (This is true, but you have to go a long way before it happens.)
