If you found a wallet full of money what would you do?

A. Keep the money and return the wallet.

B. Return the wallet and the money.

C. Keep the money and throw away the wallet.

If I was on the situation I would say B. Call me a good-too-shoes but you never know what that money is for so I would return it also.

Honest opinions please.

Andrea - NOT ALWAYS!!

If the wallet contained no info and only money how would that make you a thief?  If you say it still does, then how about the times you have found money on the ground or in the change return in the phone.  Are you a thief if you keep it then??

Option B if it contained I.D.

If not, then

Option D - Take 20% and take the rest to the nearest police station. That way if the person who lost it doesnt offer you a reward then you wont feel bad, but if they do offer a reward take it and return the 20% by sending it to them in the mail!   OR if no one claims it, wait a week and then the rest is all yours! JUST KIDDING ABOUT THE 20%!!

Seriously, always return the money and wallet to the rightful owner if possible.  You never know what the money was needed for.  Dont be one of those people like "(+_+) B".  That money may be the difference from someone feeding or clothing their kids that month.

I'd be worried about getting the wallet safely back to it's owner. It really sucks to have to replace all your stuff like driver's license and credit cards. So I'd try and get it back to them as soon as possible.

I would treat others like I would want to be treated.

i believe in karma-if i kept the money i'd probably have some bad luck-like i'd use it to buy groceries and choke on the food. or have a car accident on my way home from the shopping spree where i spent it.

Honestly B, when you say "return" I suppose you ahve found and know who is the person losing the wallet ?

However if ........ I found such a wallet at a very remote place, I would choose C haha... Sorry :(
